Zombies, Run! Makes Your Workout a Race for Survival
Need more motivation for your next run? How about a pack of snarling zombies snapping at your heels?
Zombies, Run!, to be released early next year for iPhone and Android, is an app in the style ofRunkeeper, with an exciting undead twist.
You start up the app, plug in your headphones and go for a run. As you begin to sprint, jog or walk to your destination of choice, you’ll hear the narrated story of a zombie-infested, dystopian future. You’re a “runner” in this world, which means that your job is to go out and collect supplies like ammo, medicine and batteries for your ragtag base of human survivors. The more you run, the more stuff you’ll acquire.

We’re Alive - The Zombie Story of Survival
I’ve been listening to this all day. It is a podcast that references old radio dramas but with the zombie apocalypse instead of private eyes. Description below:
“A small riot in LA has spread past its containment. Three reserve soldiers are called to their deserted duty station. Believed to be the last remaining armed servicemen in the area, Michael, Angel, and Saul witness the true cause of the riot; people are starting to change and attack each other. Armed with only what they can carry, they set out to secure an apartment building and rescue survivors scattered amongst the shattered remains of civilization. In a world turned upside down, every day is a struggle, as those who have taken refuge in “the tower” find out that their safe haven is under constant threat. In this place, however, the strengths of those who stand together, might just be enough to live long enough to see things start to change.”
They come out via podcasts most Mondays and there are already 16 chapters consisting of 3, 20 minute parts each. They are on iTunes or you can download them at www.zombiepodcast.com.
